How they met
Rob was wingman for a friend of his that night. Amanda and her shortest bridesmaid was playing my wingman. I should note that both Rob and Amanda are very tall.
Rob was wearing his San Jose State University shirt and Amanda was currently attending the very same college. Something that got them talking to eachother that night, an ice breaker, was that Amanda’s wing(wo)man was only 4’11” and Rob is 6’6″. As you might guess, there was a lot of posing them together to view the major difference in height.
They all partied hard that evening and the rest is history!
Their Engagement Story
Amanda had a feeling something was up because when she got home he was wearing a shirt AND pants!! He typically only wears basketball shorts at home. As They were enjoying dinner, he said, “well, you know, it’s like a bouquet of flowers – it’s whats on the inside that counts”…..
Amanda gave him the weirdest look, like he was making no sense. He reached for the beautiful bouquet centerpiece he had bought specially for the occasion and pulled out the rose in the middle. Attached to that rose was the ring! He got down on one knee and said he wanted to grow old with her and asked if she would be his wife forever & always. ♥️♥️

Jen’s favorite memory
Beyond those above, my favorite memory at Amanda and Rob’s wedding day was the fact that both Amanda and Rob were super easy going and very calm. Amanda’s only outwardly facing nerves popped up just before their first look. Amanda said, “oh my” while putting her hand on her heart. She mentioned butterflies, which melted my heart.
The other thing I loved was their son Brennan who was running down a hill with his friends, getting served cake by his parents after they had their first bit after cutting the cake, and sitting with his parents at their sweatheart table. As a mom, I absolutely loved seeing how attentive both Rob and Amanda were to him the whole evening even thought it was their special day.
