135% increase in searches for “creative furniture” from Sept 2021 to August 2022. In the last three weeks compared to the previous three weeks:

On the cheap
Pinterest users are making over their spaces with an eye towards budget friendly updates.
160% increase in searches for “cheap house updates”. In the last three weeks compared to the previous three weeks:

- “cheap stair makeover” +60%
- “office makeover on a budget” +45%
- “cheap bathroom remodel” +40%
Getting organized:
People on Pinterest are streamlining their storage and organization methods, both inside and out.
170% increase in searches for “small garage organization ideas” In the last three weeks compared to the previous three weeks:
- “reusable bag storage ideas” +75%
- “toilet paper storage ideas” +70%
- “kids art supply organization” +55%
- “backyard storage sheds” +40%
Technically speaking
From framed TVs to smart beds, people are looking to upgrade their home electronics and appliances.
55% increase in searches for “gaming room setup for boys”. In the last three weeks compared to the previous three weeks:
- “smart bed” +80%
- “small home theater rooms” +40%
- “treadmill desk” +40%

Pinterest users are looking to add interest, texture, and utility to all the walls in their living spaces.
3x increase in searches for “pole wrap accent wall”. In the last three weeks compared to the previous three weeks:
- “living room wall ideas above couch” +150%
- “over the bed wall decor” +110%
- “bathroom decor wall shelves” +65%
- “how to decorate staircase wall” +45%
- “framed tv” +25%
Going to the dark side
On Pinterest, people aren’t afraid of the dark for moody and ethereal home decor.
3x increase in searches for “dark ethereal aesthetic”. In the last three weeks compared to the previous three weeks:
- “dark eclectic home” +100%
- “dark romantic bedroom” +70%
- “dark quartz kitchen countertops” +40%
- “dark maximalism” +30%
Cream of the crop
Warm cream tones are trending on Pinterest for kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and more.
60% increase in searches for “black and cream bedroom ideas”. In the last three weeks compared to the previous three weeks:
- “cream and white kitchen” +80%
- “cream bathroom ideas” +60%
- “cream bedding ideas” +50%
- “cream kitchen” +25%
