Intimate Summer Wedding at Seeker Winery in San Martin California | Nathan + Emily
At Seeker Winery in San Martin, California Nathan and Emily got married surrounded by 30 of their most loved friends and family from all over the country. They knew they most wanted an intimate wedding that was part boho part rustic, and super easygoing. Well, until they started the music – then they were all over that dance floor from kids to grandparents, busting out their best moves.
My favorite memory
One of my favorite memories of the wedding is when their wedding party and parents spoke. The Best Man couldn’t make it due to being sick so he recorded a speech that was humorous and sentimental.
Their Best Person (the maid of honor and also filling in for the best man) and her two bridesmaids told the story of when Nathan and Emily met in college and had us laughing and then tears for how much the newlyweds are ideally suited for each other.
Another memory is their first look before the wedding. The owner of Seeker Winery had the spot picked out that was private and beautiful. Even though they’ve been together since their first year of college, the moment was emotional and loving.
How They Met
Nathan and Emily met in 2014 during their first year as Freshmen at Humboldt State University. They lived in the same dorm on the same floor (they were neighbors!)
How They Got Engaged
Nathan proposed to Emily on April 29th, 2021 in their apartment the day before Emily was traveling to Los Angeles for a friend’s birthday.
He wanted her to be able to tell her friends that she and Nathan were engaged in person that weekend!
Their Favorite Date
It’s simple. Nathan and Emily’s favorite date is still dinner and a movie at home.
