Winter Wonderland Wedding at Chateau Incline Village in Tahoe Nevada. This was such a fun wedding! Vanessa and Eric had an over two year engagement to plan the wedding of their dreams in the snow. When I drove there, my husband (my second shooter) and I were a bit concerned because there wasn’t a lot of snow on the ground. Little did I know that it would be a snow storm after the ceremony and we barely got the wedding party out there. The temperature dropped to 8 degrees — the wedding party was so savage to brave those elements to be able to get the images that Vanessa and Eric wanted, and of course I was game! CHECK on my bucket wedding photography list!
They got married on Super Bowl 54, they are long time 49er fans, and her dad turned 49. The TV’s were on during cocktail hour and many of them threw on 49er gear. Sadly the 49ers lost, but they celebrated this precious wedding – even taking a special 49er outfited photo!
How They Met
We met in high school started dating when we were 15 and have been together ever since!:)
How they got engaged
Vaness and Eric got engaged in Hawaii on January 2 because Eric knows that the number 2 is Vanessa’s favorite number:)
They started their morning by walking on the beach talking about their lives together and ended up getting breakfast at the hula grill with a beautiful view of the beach. They talked about all of their years together and Vanessa’s grandma (her favorite most important person in her life).
By the end of that fateful breakfast, Eric popped the question and Vanessa said yes!
Their favorite date
Their favorite date is going to Disneyland. They always feel like kids when they go there and always have a blast! But, they also love the yummy food and drinks that can get and enjoy them throught their days there.
