Brides and Weddings: Spring Wedding in the Woods
“After being inspired by the Pantone colors of Kale, Greenery, and Pale Dogwood, Jen Vazquez of Jen Vazquez Photography decided that Fernwood Cellars’ Redwood Retreat in Gilroy, California would be the perfect place for this styled shoot. Nestled in the woods, she had the ability to bring all the green and brown into the images. Her focus was a romantic wedding where you could picture fairies all around. She specifically chose elements of green ferns in the bouquet and the crown on the bride’s head.”

Choosing who to have in your wedding is never an easy decision, but these photos prove that having your pup as a part of the big day only makes it better. Complete with miniature tuxedos and delicate flower crowns, these dogs look almost as beautiful as the brides. 7 x 7: Wedding Inspiration A Garden Fete in Gilroy
Kayla Bircher and Chris Baty met all the way back in middle school—he was her childhood best friend’s friend’s friend (catch that?). Their first teenage date was at an EDM show, followed by a day at Dolores Park in SF. Then, after a long-distance stint, at a New Year’s Eve party, he presented her with a peach oval sapphire at the stroke of midnight. On their big day, the two gathered with their loved ones on a private estate in Gilroy, Bircher’s hometown. They sipped bourbon, got dolled up, and then Bircher presented her husband-to-be with a boudoir photo book during their first look.
The entire day was swathed in shades of blush and navy, from the bridesmaid’s dresses to the groomsmen’s attire to the decor. There were bright crimson pops in all the floral arrangements, homey signs, and a blooming white wedding arch. Rustic accents were found in decorative wine bar. Gilded touches made their way into the reception with shimmering signs, gold-rimmed plates, and a sparkly tablecloth for the sweetheart table. Lush greens with scarlet blooms lined the table and the four-tiered cake. The newlyweds ate cupcakes, and danced on the stone paths and patio, under a canopy of warm string lights until the sun went down.

Bridal Gush: Whimsical Garden Wedding Inspiration Dripping with Pretty pastels
We have all thawed out from the winter freeze and now Spring is upon us. With Spring comes beautiful flowers and even more beautiful brides. Today we bring you a wedding inspiration shoot that is full of both. This shoot takes modern elements like acrylic (which you all know is my FAV!) and mixes them with pretty pastel florals intertwined in tons of loosely gathered greenery to create a whimsical feel. Touches of gold and hints of marble are sprinkled throughout to give that added touch of elegance that every wedding needs. The bride’s beaded bodice dress with A-line tulle skirt dress fits oh so perfectly with this splendid mix of structure and playfulness.
