GThe Newlywed Game was a popular TV show, way back in the day. I find that its a super fun game to play with engaged couples and newlyweds to see how well they know eachother.

The Engaged and Newlywed Game

This is a great game to play at a bridal shower. You can ask the groom to answer some questions and then ask her and see how many she gets right. Some couples play a game like this during a reception and others play it at an anniversary party. I find my family loves to play it at family parties. Now that my two older children are married it’s much more fun than having the kids just make fun of us old people married forever! Any way you play it, have a blast!

How to Play

Questions range from simple questions about personalities and preferences to personal questions about their love life. I put all the questions into categories to make it easier to choose the question, depending upon the event or company. For instance, you may not want to ask the love life questions when there are kids around.

Scoring

Every correct question is worth 10 points. Play 5 rounds. If there is a tie, ask one of the tie questions that is worth 50 points.

Dating
