Wedding Trends RIGHT NOW
With the pandemic, brides are choosing to wait to have the wedding of their dreams or to have tiny weddings that focus on getting married and the ceremony.
The trends I’m seeing and photographing show changes to how they are done and what they are wearing. Here are some of the things I’ve seen:
Biggest Change
The biggest change is to have fewer guests (no surprise with the pandemic). Those that want to marry now are choosing fewer guests and streaming the ceremony to many friends and family live.
Less is More
Brides are just excited to be able to have a wedding right now, so for safety, people are doing without the food and the decor is simple. The focus is on the ceremony and getting married.
Wedding dresses
With all these micro weddings and elopements due to Covid, more and more brides are choosing sleek silhouettes that hug the body. Simple styles to reflect the simple ceremonies.
Grooms
Grooms are wearing more simple suits rather than an elaborate tux, cummerbund, vest, etc. and I’ve seen more and more simple going out to the club looks.
